Where we fish
The finest Golden Dorado fishing in Argentina, where the Corriente River meets the majestic Paraná.

Prospecting is done in the North-East of Argentina, an area known as Mesopotamia — largely covered by subtropical forest with a wide range of flora and fauna. This humid, verdant region comprises the provinces of Misiones, Entre Ríos and Corrientes, dominated by three rivers: the Paraná, the Uruguay and the Corriente.
Esquina, in Corrientes province, lies some 415 miles north-east of Buenos Aires. The extended delta formed by the Corriente River and the majestic Paraná guarantees the most diverse waters where Dorados thrive.

Founded in 1806 by Spanish explorers, Esquina was destroyed in 1839 during the national civil war and finally re-founded in 1846, owing to its strategic location and the importance of its port — a nexus between the remote northern Paraná and Buenos Aires.
Today the economy relies on agriculture, forestry and tourism. Its streets remain similar to colonial times, shaded by native trees that provide the perfect scenery to relax.

Situated at a privileged location with breathtaking scenery of rivers and luscious vegetation, the lodge offers the infrastructure for absolute comfort. It consists of two buildings with a private dock, both with single or double bedrooms, private bathrooms, TV, AC, heat and a swimming pool, as well as laundry and cleaning service.
The restaurant serves local food that contrasts in taste and variety with the international cuisine also on offer — all accompanied by the well-known excellence of Argentinean wines. For non-angler companions, the lodge offers extra activities such as horseback riding and daily ranch visits. Lodging in a private ranch or cottages is also available on request.
